Trust Fund $7.99 From the New York Times bestselling author of The Takeover and The Insider comes a riveting new novel pitting brother against brother and putting personal honor to the ultimate test–in the world of high finance and boundless ambition among power brokers from Wall Street to Washington. A scion of wealth and privilege, Bo Hancock is the youngest son of Connecticut’s most influential clan–and the financial genius at Warfield Capital, the multibillion dollar investment firm at the heart of the family dynasty. He is also stranded in the shadow of his charismatic brothers, Teddy and Paul, and starved for the approval of their domineering father. While his brothers enjoy the spotlight, Bo can be counted on to "clean up" when anything threatens to tarnish the sterling Hancock name. Sixteen years ago, Bo covered up a monstrous crime involving Paul and a call girl. Now Paul is on the fast track to the White House–and Bo has become a liability, thanks to his weakness for alcohol and for women other than his wife. Stripped of his position and exiled to the backwoods of Montana–away from temptation and the public eye–Bo thinks his life has hit rock bottom. But a deathbed reconciliation with his father brings him home and reinstalls him at Warfield Capital, sparking a rapid-fire chain of events that could destroy the family and its vast fortune. First Warfield is left vulnerable to every Wall Street shark out to make a killing. Then a sudden rash of real killings forces Bo to confront the specter of a sinister conspiracy–and brings him face to face with one shocking truth after another, shattering the world and the family he thought he knew . . . leaving him utterly alone and running for his life. Trust Fund moves at hyperspeed from the canyons of Wall Street to the corridors of Congress to private sanctums of inherited wealth and power. It is the tale of a great American political and financial dynasty wrenched apart by its own fierce ambition–and by one son’s determination to forge his own destiny on his own terms. |

Brilliant Strategies – Could It Be Okay To Make Use Of Taxpayer Money To Finance Tattoo Removal?
Did you know that one in every four people in the UK is reckoned to possess a permanent tattoo? Moreover, additional studies have shown that one from every four individuals who already have the tattoo will live to feel disappointed about the decision and begin to consider tattoo removal as the years pass. Does this imply that the government should invest more money in “anti-tattoo” promotions? This could appear to be especially the case if we believe recent surveys that tell us that some people looking for work are now being given public cash to help with their laser tattoo removal.
It seems that job centre employees have already been told that they are permitted to use taxpayer cash to finance this removal if it can be proven that the presence of the tattoo is, essentially, a hurdle to them getting gainful employment. We know that some employers will, all things considered, not think about accepting someone if the tattoo is in an extremely noticeable place such as around the face or the neck.
It is undoubtedly correct that at some point a tattoo wasn’t socially acceptable and appeared to be prominent only in a few subcategories of the community. A great deal has changed over time and some prominent public figures have admitted to having tattoos, although maybe not in very obvious to spot places. There are many reasons for wanting to remove a tattoo and not all are connected to job leads. For instance, in the event you got one which proclaimed undying love to a former lover, this could be a rather uncomfortable situation if you split up and found yourself “on the market” yet again.
Although laser tattoo removal can certainly be a tad expensive if you don’t have any significant employment and therefore a prominent income source, it’s nevertheless good to know that the choice is available should you in fact be one of the 25% of UK adults who regrets your previous selection.

9/11 Unveiled $7.95 9/11 Unveiled leads the reader to the inescapable conclusion: The 9/11 Commission Report is fatally flawed. Its conclusions regarding the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 are false. With the Commission’s staff barely in place, a detailed outline — complete with “chapter headings, subheadings, and sub-subheadings” of The 9/11 Commission Report, had been prepared. The Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission, a Commission vigorously opposed by the White House, also drafted the Bush administration’s pre-emptive war doctrine. Bin Laden, the rationale for the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, was not wanted for 9/11.The author is the founder of The Wisdom Fund (TWF.org). His articles on national and world affairs have been published in newspapers and magazines in the U.S. and overseas. An engineer by profession, he managed research programs, the National Power Grid Study, and the National Electric Reliability Study for the U.S. Department of Energy, and set up and directed the Operations Review Division at the Iowa Commerce Commission. He has also consulted for the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the World Bank — in Albania, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Latvia, Pakistan, Russia, and Tanzania.More at http://www.twf.org/Library/911Unveiled.html |
