Save Time And Money With A Bottleless Water Cooler   by Nick Messe

There are many benefits to switching to the office use of bottleless water coolers. You can simplify things around the office, and increase productivity. Productivity is one of the principle, driving factors in the modern workplace. There are many ways in which the old, standard water cooler is causing your work environment to be much less productive.

If you have a rental agreement with your current water provider, then someone in your office has to spend time taking care of the paperwork involved. Someone also has to make sure that you keep track of the timeliness, and efficiency of water delivery. There are a lot of companies that also demand a deposit in the beginning to get your water process started. This is an additional annoyance for your accounting department.

A bottleless water cooler, will eliminate these frustrations, and many more. Once you have bought the machine, there will be no need to worry about any extra paperwork. Once a year, you will have to buy cartridges, and that’s truly all you will have to worry about. It can’t get much easier than that.

A bottleless water cooler system will take water from your own system of plumbing. There is nothing new to install, and no weekly, or monthly maintenance. There are no leases, and paper work to worry about, no deposits, and no tracking necessary. Even if your water cooler paperwork only amounts to 20 minutes of time each month, you are actually losing 4 hours a year, on the water cooler.

Another plus is that you will not have to deal with regular interruptions during the course of your business day, when the delivery guy comes around. With this new water cooler system, you will not have to replace empty bottles yourself, or require that any of your employees do so. Even if your bottles are located right near your system, the process still takes up time, and is a constant annoyance for many. For a small office of 30 people, or less, the average water bottle use expectancy can equal around 15 or 20.

Replacing empty bottles can take up to 5 minutes for each bottle. So for, just 15 bottles, that’s 75 minutes of probable distraction every week to replace the water bottle supply. Once you include an employee’s benefits package, each of your employees can cost approximately $20 each hour. So how much money are you really losing for each hour of employee distraction?

A bottleless system will replace all of these issues. There is only one 1/2 hour installation, and that is it. You can have it installed during the lunch break, or before the start of business one day. In addition, though many of us feel that distilled, or purified water is completely safe drink, and completely free of bacterium or viral issues, it is not.

It’s the initial product that is completely safe. With conventional bottles, the person delivering, and handling your water often comes in contact with your water source and very bottle installed brings forth the possibility of cross-contamination. The culprit can be the person delivering the water, or the people in the office that install the new bottles. Whenever a bottle seal is removed or handled it creates a chance of illness or infection. This is one of the many reasons why a bottleless water cooler system is highly superior.

2030 - The Future of Medicine: Avoiding a Medical Meltdown

2030 – The Future of Medicine: Avoiding a Medical Meltdown

$27.95

Over the last couple of years, the credit crunch has driven a near-collapse of the world’s financial systems. With the benefit of hindsight, many say this could have been predicted and avoided. Over the next 10-20 years, healthcare is headed for its own meltdown: an inability to fund the growth in demand and the appearance of costly new medical technology within the current healthcare systems framework. This ‘meltdown’ will not be as sudden as that in the world of finance: it will occur over the next 20 years, but the failure of the current sources of healthcare funding to meet our expectations of care quantity and quality will have consequences every bit as serious as the banking crisis. The warning signs are there, the crisis is already being predicted – but is it inevitable, or can it be avoided? This book offers a penetrating analysis of the underlying problems, and offers some simple, but far-reaching solutions to bring supply and demand back into balance and avoid the meltdown. It is not a contribution to the current political debate but a primer for the changes to the underlying fabric of healthcare if reforms such as "Obamacare" have any chance of sustainable success. In the course of the book, we confront many topical challenges: How can people be persuaded to manage their own health better?; Can we afford to spend more of today’s money on disease prevention and detection, to save future costs?; Will ‘personalised medicine’ be cheaper, or more expensive?; Are healthcare IT systems a key part of the solution or doomed to be expensive white elephants?; and most importantly: What will the future of healthcare look like, for us and for our children and grandchildren? To bring the answers to this final question alive, the book uses a fictitious family, the Carters, to illustrate the changes we will see, the dilemmas we will face and the solutions we must strive for. Interspersed between the text are the vignettes of members
